Haiti: The United Nations Picks Up The Pieces

Just because the camera crews and reporters have left, doesn’t mean that somehow Haiti should stop being newsworthy. Just because the politicians have stopped talking about the disaster, and stopped visiting, doesn’t somehow mean the problem is solved.

222,517 lives lost. To put that in perspective, 2,973 lives were lost during the September 11 terrorist attacks. Just tragic and heart breaking.
