Browser Parity

I want browsers to be competitive and push us forward but I want them to compete on features, not on the display of web content. All browsers should display the web content identically, based on W3C standards. If a browser wants to be forward-thinking and allow new specs that aren’t finalized, that’s cool, as long as the current specs are displayed correctly. There are so many other areas where a browser could differentiate itself. Just leave the display of the web page or web app alone. Don’t cut corners, don’t allow sloppy code to work, just render the code as it’s written.
