It’s so amazing to me that a company could have such a clear vision of where they want to be in years down the road. So many companies claim to have vision and challenge their leadership to help create vision but so few companies actually understand what it means, let alone have vision. Apple had this whole thing mapped out before the iPod was even known to consumers. They knew where they were going and I think that helped them stay focused so they could get there. They didn’t waver from their vision because someone called them lame.
“No wireless. Less space than a nomad. Lame.”
Lame indeed.
