The Deterioration of Frank Reynolds

One of the things I find especially hilarious in It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is the steady deterioration of Frank Reynolds (played by Danny DeVito). This character was introduced in the first episode of Season 2 as Dennis and Dee’s dad. In that episode he was put together, obviously successful, but getting a divorce. By the time you get to Season 4, the character has taken a nasty turn and his hair is frayed, he’s wearing huge-framed glasses and he’s completely psychotic. It is one of the funniest character transformations I’ve ever seen.

Looking forward to Thursday.
