It is funny to me that Amazon and Google, in a rush to beat Apple to the cloud, pushed the record labels right into Apple’s arms because Apple was willing to play ball. Apple continues to tighten their grip as the de facto standard of music distribution and 2 companies most interested in dethroning them just stepped on their own necks by pissing off the industry that could help them.
