You know why this happens? Not because TSA agents are “idiots” or that the technology “sucks.” It’s because the very idea that we can screen every human being that walks through the airport is ludicrous. It becomes even more so when the goal is to not only screen every human but to also do it in the least amount of time possible. It truly is a theater of security.
