I would like to point out to everyone who called me a mindless Apple fanboy when I decided to return my Droid that others are starting to come to the same conclusion.
Star Wars Text in HTML5 and CSS3
I’m really geeking out about the demo someone did for HTML5 and CSS3 using the intro to Star Wars. The text is live and I am loving it. The promise of the future of web design. A new hope.
It only works in Safari 4.

This is systemic to the Linux mindset I fear. Those users expect applications to be free and open.
Additionally, the apps I used on Droid paled in comparison to the apps I use on my iPhone. Both in user interface design and usefulness. But many of those apps were free. I didn’t want to purchase any apps from the Android Market because what I was experiencing in the free-app market made me...

The Droid Experiment
For a while now, I’ve wanted to try a new mobile platform. The iPhone OS is great and there are many things to like about it. Droid Dilemma
I bought the Motorola Droid on Friday as a way to scratch the gadget itch I’ve had for a while. My plan was to take advantage of the “Worry-Free Guarantee” Verizon offers. At the time I bought it, I said I’d give it a chance to replace my iPhone but I really only gave it a 1% chance. After spending a weekend with the device I now feel like there’s a 10-to-15% chance.
