Citibank is Increasing Everyone's Rates
I read about Citibank increasing the APR next January on The Consumerist but I had a hard time believing it. Sure enough, I received my letter today. My APR went from 7.99% to 14.99% retroactive to October 1, 2008 if I do not opt out by January 31, 2009.
